Cookie Policy
This page explains what information our website saves in your browser, why we need it and how you can choose whether to allow optional Google Analytics cookies.

What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information saved by your web browser. They can help a website remember that you are signed in, remember a choice you made or understand how the website is being used.
We also use two similar browser features. “Local storage” keeps information until it expires or you clear it. “Session storage” normally disappears when you close the browser tab. On this page, we use “cookies and saved browser information” to describe all of them together.
Why we use cookies and saved browser information
We use them for three simple reasons:
Required
Keeps the website secure, lets you sign in and remembers your cookie choice.
Saved choices
Remembers helpful choices, such as the referral link you used or messages you have seen.
Optional analytics
Helps us understand which pages are useful. Google Analytics cookies are used only if you accept them.
We do not use your cookie choice to turn on advertising or personalised ads.
Cookies the website needs
Some saved information is needed to keep your account secure, let you sign in, open account features, complete a checkout you started and remember your cookie choice.
These are always on because parts of the website may stop working without them. We never show or publish private security information such as your sign-in token.
Information that remembers your choices
We remember practical choices so the website feels consistent. For example, we may remember the referral link you used and whether you have already seen a welcome screen or message.
We do not currently save a theme or language choice. If we add those features later, this page will be updated. Saved choices are not used to turn on advertising.
Optional Google Analytics cookies
Google Analytics helps us see which pages people visit, how they found the website, how they move between pages and whether the website works well on different browsers and devices.
Analytics cookies are off until you accept them. If you reject them, Google Analytics will not save or read its usual cookies on your device. Google may still receive a basic measurement message without a cookie, but it cannot use an Analytics cookie to recognise your browser on a later visit.
If you accept, Google Analytics may save cookies named _ga and _ga_*. It may estimate a broad location such as your country or region from your internet connection. We do not ask for your GPS location or exact address, and we keep advertising and personalised-ad settings off.

You do not need to understand the technical names in this list. They are included so you can see exactly what the website may save. A name ending in an asterisk can have a different ending for each account, page or Analytics setup.
The Analytics switch controls Google Analytics cookies. The basic website-visit entry listed below is created by Contact Journalists to count a visit once rather than several times.

Accept, reject or change your choice
Google Analytics cookies are optional. You can reject them and still use login, signup, forms, dashboards, account tools and checkout normally.
You can change your mind at any time by selecting Cookie Settings in the footer or using the button below. If you turn Analytics off, we immediately tell Google not to use Analytics cookies and remove the Google Analytics cookies that this website is able to access.
Your browser settings
Your browser also lets you view, block or delete cookies and other saved website information. If you block everything, you may be signed out and some account or security features may stop working.
Other services we use
Google provides our optional website analytics. You can read the Google Privacy Policy and Google’s Analytics privacy information.
Zoho provides the live-chat box on our homepage and may save information needed to keep the chat working. See the Zoho Privacy Policy.
